Happy New Year!

Yes it was a happy new year. Not only did we ring in a New Year with new beginnings but we also celebrated the birth of a new niece Qwynci Diane Decker! She was born on December 31st at 9:44 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 8oz (I guessed 6 lbs 9oz). So Saturday I headed up to Show Low to see my new niece! My mom was there also and we stayed for 4 days helping out with the new baby. It was probably more help than the little baby needed because she has such an awesome mother, but it was so much fun to spend time with mom, sister and of course the new baby. We spent time looking through her cute baby clothes, mixing and matching outfits, and dressing her up so cute. She has a TON of pink. We also played some games including a 3 day game of "Hand and Foot"!

We spent time holding her and watching her sleep with all the cute faces she would make while sleeping! There is nothing like watching a new born baby sleep. So peaceful! She also needed a lot of kisses from aunt Autumn!

She was a very alert baby. She was so content most of the time when she was awake. She would just look around and we loved to interact with her at these times.

Here is dad filing Qwynci's nails so she doesn't scratch her face. How cute is that! Thank you Brandon for taking such good care of mom and baby!

Also while we were there it snowed! It started snowing Saturday night and snowed all day Sunday. Seriously it never stopped. It snowed about 6 inches while we were there. For some of you who live in really cold places that might not sounds like a lot but for someone like me who lives where it is hot that is a lot in one day.

By the time we left on Tuesday afternoon most of the snow was melted off my truck but there was still a lot on the top which didn't come off until we were almost to Globe!
