Carter Is Two Months Old!

On June 3rd Carter turned 2 months old. I can't believe it has already been 2 months. He is such a little cutie and so much fun. He smiles and talks so much now it is so much fun to watch him. I try to get it on video but every time I get the camera out he stops talking. He is getting better at sleeping at night. He gets up 2 times at night for feedings and sleeps for about 4-5 hours in between the feedings. He is teaching me to be a morning person because he loves to be up at 5am and refuses to go back to sleep :) He still loves his bath times. He talks and smiles at you the whole time he is getting a bath. He doesn't like me to wash his hair while he is in the bath so I wrap him in his towel and wash his hair in the sink and he loves that. The new born clothes either he has grown out of or fit him kind of snug so he is wearing 0-3month outfits. He is starting to play on his own a little longer and enjoys his bouncy seat and play gym. He is always trying to get his hands in his mouth. He loves to talk to his daddy. He is always stretching his arms up above his head. James says it's because he thinks he is on a roller coaster. It's too funny. He has really long eye lashes and his eyes are almost a deep green color. We will see if they change to brown in the next few months but I am hoping they stay green.

While we were in Missouri our attorney called to let us know that nothing came up on the father's registry so we were relieved and very excited about that. Our court date to make the adoption final is on July 8th and we are very excited for that. We love this little guy so much and are thankful every day he is part of out family :)
