James Birthday/ 4th Of July

So we headed up to my parent's cabin for James' birthday. I didn't take any pictures and it was a short trip because James had to be back for work but we had fun. We were only at the cabin for one night but James got to go fishing and caught about 7 fish in about 3 hours. We cooked them when he got home and they were good. James came home and I stayed at the cabin for the rest of the week with my family for the 4th of July weekend. My oldest brother Ryan came with his family and we all had a lot of fun. Here are some pics of what we did.

Carter got to meet some more cousins he hadn't met before. They loved Carter and he enjoyed being entertained and held by them. Macey would let me know that Carter REALLY liked her and she always wanted to hold him.

My Dad taught the boys how to build a fire so they could roast marshmallows
The kids loved to go crawdad fishing at the creek at the cabin. One morning they were up before 6am down there catching crawdads and stayed till after dark. They ended up catching 27 crawdads. Whitney made a deal with them and bought the crawdads from them at the end of the day so they would go throw them back instead of torchering them to death.
We made bracelets and got our toes done for the 4th of July. Whitney did an awesome job on our toes and nails!

We rode the 4 wheelers and the rail. Jaycie and Kylie who are both 13 got to drive the rail this year. It was fun to watch them learn to drive it. They did a really good job.
While I was out riding the 4 wheelers, Carter was getting loved on by his Grandma!
Carter also got some Grandpa time :)Carter and I on the 4th of July. As you can tell Carter wasn't very excited to get his picture taken.
My brother-in-law is one of the fire fighters in Show Low so on the 4th of July we go to the BBQ the fire fighters have on the field before the fire works and then watch the fireworks from front row seats:) Carter was being pretty fussy that night because of the wind so I didn't get very many pictures but we had a lot of fun.

Brynli being so cute

It doesn't happen very often by all of my brothers and sister were there for the 4th of July.
One of Carter's favorite things to do while we were there was to wrestle with his burp clothes. It was funny to watch.
