This Christmas we went to my mom's house for Christmas Eve and then went to James' mom's for Christmas Day. The night before Christmas Eve Carter got sick was was having fevers. He had a fever all the night before Christmas Eve until we got home Christmas night. With the help of Tylenol and Motrin he was a good sport all through Christmas. Christmas Eve we had dinner at my mom's then went to a live nativity put on by a family in Thatcher. It was pretty cool. We then drove around and looked at Christmas lights while Qwynci told me "Autumn yook at the yites" every time she saw a house with lights. it was funny. Carter wasn't feeling good and fell asleep so James stayed at my mom's with him while we were driving around. When we got back to the house my Aunt and Uncle came over and we played Hand and Foot. It was fun.
Christmas morning we got up and started opening presents. Qwynci got a blow up castle with balls in it and Carter was content just playing with that.
Eventually he did get around to opening his own presents with the help of mom, dad and Qwynci of course :)

He wasn't really interested in ripping the paper off of his presents but when he saw Qwynci opening her presents he wanted to join in her fun
Half way through all the fun Carter needed a break to have a bottle and the big helper Qwynci is she wanted to give him the bottle
And eventually he fell asleep in the middle of all the fun
One of the presents came in a diaper box and I think Qwynci liked playing in that more than any of the other things she got.
After all the fun was over at my mom's we headed to James' mom's where James' brother's family gave Carter this ball that plays a song while vibrating and bouncing everywhere. At first Carter wasn't too sure about it but then he liked it. Now he loves to play with it and if I turn it off because it can be annoying he throws a huge fit.
