The second weekend in March we went out to Missouri for Lacy and Aaron's wedding (James' half sister) Carter did so good on the flight there and the flight back. He fell asleep when we were taking off and didn't wake up till we landed. The first day we flew into to Arkansas and drove the two hours to Springfield. We got a hotel and then headed to the wedding which was about 45min away. We were a little late but they put off starting the wedding till we got there. The ceremony was nice and then there was a dinner reception after. The cake they had there was the best wedding cake I have ever had. It was so moist and yummy. We stayed for two more days visiting with family and then we flew back home on the 3rd day. Here are some pics from our trip.

Carter was so excited to be off the airplane and playing in the airport while dad got our bags and our rental car.

Carter and Grandpa McFarland. I don't think James' dad has ever worn a tux before so we had to get a picture of it.

Cousin Meagan thought he would look good with this bow in his hair.

Carter liked this chair and I thought I could get some fun pictures in it but he was more interested in watching the people vacuum the floor that he wouldn't look at the camera.

When we were cleaning up after the wedding there was this little girl who couldn't find her mom and dad so she would go up to everyone and ask "do you know where my mom and dad are?" Well Carter was sitting on the floor just jabbering away and the little girl went up to him and so seriously asked him if he knew where her mom and dad where. Carter started pointing and just kept jabbering like he was answering her it was so cute to watch.
This is what we did at Grandpa's house

James painted Meagan's nails. She didn't trust him to paint them so she just let him do one.

Carter got a yummy ice cream treat.

And the best part of being at Grandpa McFarland's was playing with the dogs. Carter loved them! He followed them around everywhere and laughed and talked to them and pulled their tails. The dogs where so patient with him.

One of the day's we were out there we got to go to Meagan's school and have lunch with her. It was fun to see where she goes to school and what her class room looks like. She was so excited to have her Uncle James and Cousin Carter at her school.

I knew it was going to be cold and rainy while we were there but one of the days it actually snowed!
It was a quick trip but we had fun visiting with family.
