Easter At The Cabin

This year Carter and I went up to the cabin with my family for Easter weekend.  James had to work the 2 days before Easter so he met us up there on Sunday. 
When we first got to the cabin Carter loved to go up and down this one step.  After having a couple of tumbles on his head he quickly learned to turn around and go down backward.

The kids wanted to have a water fight with the water guns so my mom had to lay down some rules so no one would run in crying because they got wet and didn't want to get wet.

I was excited for Carter to join in the fun of dying eggs but he didn't feel good all weekend and so this is what he was doing while the kids dyed eggs

he ended up taking a 2 hour nap that day.  The longest he slept all weekend!

With the help of cousin Mitch Carter got a lot of eggs in his basket.

Easter morning we got up nice and early.  Brynli told me she was so excited because Santa Clause had come! I got a good laugh out of that.

That afternoon we headed over to Show Low where Dacia's baby Tytan was blessed.  My dad gave him such an awesome blessing.  Carter didn't know how to be quiet during sacrament meeting.  At one part Carter was just babbling away and Qwynci was standing by him and turned to Uncle Marshall and asked "What Carter talking about?"  We just had to laugh because we wonder that all the time :)  After the blessing we went back to Dacia's and had lunch and visited for a while.  James and I went back to the cabin that night with my mom and dad and played hand and foot.  The next morning we helped clean up the cabin and then headed home.  It was a nice and relaxing Easter weekend.  Loved spending it with family.
