Working Outside

Carter loves to go outside and help dad with the animals.  He thinks the dogs are so funny and loves to chase the goats.  With the horse he just likes to hit her nose or her legs which ever he can get to.  I am so amazed how good all the animals are with him.  It is like they know he is a baby and to be gentle with him.  Like the other day Carter was giving Baily some treats and she was being so careful to take them from him so she wouldn't bite his fingers.  When he pulls on their faces and hits them they just stand there and take it.  Even the work dogs are good with him.  He usually comes back in from helping dad all wet from playing in the water while dad is watering the animals or trying to get a drink out of the water hose.  His shoes are always muddy just like dad's :)   So one day I took Carter out to feed the animals and he found the shovel that James had been using the day before and went to work.
