When James comes home from work Carter gets SO excited! When I tell him dad is on his way home he quickly goes to the window and starts watching for him. At the first sight of James's work truck Carter starts yelling excitedly "dawey's guck, dawey's guck" (daddy's truck) and jumps up and down. James honks his horn and sometimes turns on the lights and the siren as he comes up the driveway. Carter runs outside and the first thing he wants to do is see "dawey's guck" and then starts asking about the dogs. He helps James with the outside chores and then is very hesitant to leave James's side for the rest of the night. I love how much Carter loves being with his dad!
