A few weeks ago Brandon was called out on a fire so Carter and I went up north to visit Dacia and her kids so they wouldn't have to be alone. We had a lot of fun. The first day we were there Qwynci had a T-ball game. When we got to the field Carter took one look at her pink glove and quickly put it on his hand and grabbed the ball and was ready to play ball. He threw a fit when we had to take the glove away so that Qwynci could use it in her game. Whenever we go up there Dacia and I feel like we need a project. So this time we tried making a new recipe for cookies. It was ok but we liked our old one better. We also took on the project of fixing her leaky faucet. We got the part it needed and verified with a plumber how to do it, but after both of us trying to get the old one out of the wall and me getting a blood blister on my finger we called one her friend's husband who came and fixed it for us. :)

I brought a Slip N Slide with me and the kids had a lot of fun playing on that. They didn't quite understand the concept of running and sliding on it so they just walked on it. It was funny. Carter and Qwynci would run and then walk on it but Tytan never did. We decided that he was the smart one. Why run if you don't have to :)

While we were there the kids ate a lot of Popsicles.
