Trooper

This little guy is such a trooper. Last month he started getting his top teeth and ended up getting 4 top teeth at the same time. On top of that he had his first ear infection and a really bad cold where he would cough all night and have a bad runny nose all during the day. He handled all of it very well! The night before the day before Thanksgiving he had a fever of 102 all night. I gave him tylenol and motrin through the night but the fever wouldn't go below 102. My first experience with being up all night with my sick child. I got him in to the doctor the next day and that is when they said he had an ear infection and was started on antibiotics.
We were supposed to go to Benson for Thanksgiving but with Carter not feeling well and James wasn't feeling well either the night before Thanksgiving we decided to stay home so every one could get better. Well, I hadn't planned on making Thanksgiving dinner so we had to go to Wal-Mart late Wednesday night and get some food for Thanksgiving. Our Thanksgiving was small, just the three of us but we did have a turkey, a thanksgiving dinner casserole and a pumpkin pie. We took naps and watched a lot of football. It was simple but nice.
