Knotts Berry Farm

After surprising Ryan at their hotel that his whole family was in California and the next day all 27 of us where going to get on a boat for 7 days together we headed over to Knotts Berry Farm where we spent the day.  It worked out nicely because it just so happens that for the month of January they were having a Police Officer and Fire Fighter appreciation month and they could get two free tickets and then up to 7 more tickets for only $17 a piece.  It just so happens that we have both a police officer and a fire fighter in our family so we scored a lot of cheap tickets.  I love amusement parks.  I love the big and scary rides and everything about them.  This was Carter's first time at an amusement park and I didn't know if he would be tall enough to ride any of the kid rides or if he would even like them.  It turns out that he was tall enough to ride some of them and to say he LOVED them would be an understatement!  Every time we had to get him off a ride he would throw a fit.  It was a good thing that the lines weren't very long so he didn't have to wait too long to get back on a ride.  What I wasn't prepared for was how much more fun it was for me to watch Carter on the rides than it is for me to ride the rides myself.  The first ride we put him on was an air plane ride.  He loved sitting in it but we weren't quite sure how he would react once it started going but he LOVED it.  His favorite rides where the air planes, the cars and the trucks.  I did get to go on some of the bigger roller coasters which were a lot of fun but watching Carter was so much fun!

First he met snoopy and he wasn't quite sure about him.

But he kind of warmed up to him and kind of let snoopy give him a hug.

Qwynci was excited to go on this ride but once it started moving she was terrified.

This ride didn't have a line at all.  It was one that the kids had to pump the bar to get it to move. We thought with Jayden in the back she was going to have to push all of them along but they all pretty much did their part.
