About a month or so before Carter's birthday he started talking about his birthday and that he wanted a lightening McQueen cake. Since we were planning on taking him to Sea World for his birthday we weren't going to have a birthday party for him but he kept talking about his cake so we decided we would have a party for him a couple of days before we left with some of our family. My sister-in-law was SO nice to take the time to make his amazing lightening McQueen cake. She did an amazing job. The two things Carter wanted the most for his birthday was a watch and some boots. Which he got both of from Mom and Dad. He put his boots on right after opening them and I don't think I could get him to take them off for the next 48 hours. He also loved having everyone sing to him before he blew out the candles. Love him and can't believe he is 4!
